ECO-WORTHY Battery Review: Failed in Months, Warranty Denied

Verdict: do not buy. My ECO-WORTHY battery failed within months of light use, leaked an unknown powder substance, and the company refused to replace it — even after their own support rep admitted in writing that “the battery really has some problem.”

The product

An ECO-WORTHY battery powering the winch on my trailer. Light duty, nothing exotic. It worked fine in May 2026, the last time the trailer was used, then sat parked.

The failure

When I went to get the trailer ready for its next trip, I found a powdery substance leaking from the battery. It was dead. A lithium battery leaking an unknown powder is not just a dead battery — it is a hazardous situation.

The warranty “support”

I contacted ECO-WORTHY support with photos. Their representative confirmed the battery “really has some problem” — then refused a replacement because the order was past the one-year window, offering 50% off a new battery instead.

A defective product should be replaced, not discounted. I declined.

Why I will never buy ECO-WORTHY again

I was about to buy two 25.6V batteries for a larger solar upgrade. That sale — and every future one — is going to a manufacturer that stands behind its product. There are a hundred other companies selling batteries.

Buy at your own risk. I did, and this is what it got me.
